Easter

Easter is a great time to reflect and remember the love of God that is shown in sending His son Jesus into the world.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16 (NIV Translation)

So we remember and celebrate the forgiveness made available to all through Jesus.

8am Easter Friday Service: We remember Jesus’ took a crown of thorns as He was tortured and executed on a wooden cross.  He took the punishment for sins of the whole world, including yours and mine.  This personal suffering and sacrifice was “once for all.”  Forgiveness is now freely available to all who “believe in Him” by faith and trust.

9.30am Easter Sunday Service: We celebrate that Jesus rose from the grave back to life.  Jesus conquered death so that we share in eternal life with Him.  Death no longer holds any sting or power as Jesus has demonstrated power over death.  He ascended to Heaven and is crowned with glory.

“If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” Romans 10:9–10 (NIV Translation)

We invite you to attend both of these special services.
