Easter
Understanding God’s love together!
Discover the Heart of Easter
Would you stand or kneel?
This Easter, we look back 2000 years through the eyes of the disciple Simon. He joined Jesus as an uneducated fisherman but was eventually declared by Jesus to have a correct understanding and changed his name to Peter.
During his three years following Jesus, Peter witnessed unimaginable miracles of healing and power of nature. He also had bold faith and confidence so that he was enabled to walk on water… at least for a few steps.
As we approach the end of Jesus’ time on earth, Peter declares boldly he will follow, even to death. It is at this time of greatest declaration that he suffers his biggest defeat, denying Jesus three times. Join us this Easter, to see how he recovers and is restored.

What to expect in a Service
Our Sunday services begin at 9:30 am and end around 11:00 am.
In each service, we come together to worship, learn, and grow in faith. We sing together in heartfelt worship, hear biblical teaching that is both relevant and encouraging, and pray as a community. We regularly share in communion and experience a warm, uplifting space to encounter God.
Whether you’re just beginning to explore faith or have been attending church for years, there’s a place for you at Taringa. Our desire is that every person can encounter God, be inspired by His word, and uplifted by His community. After the service, please stay and join us for a cup of tea or coffee, so we can answer any questions you might have and help you to meet others.
