Sunday Services
Worship Service:
Sunday Worship Service starts at 9.30am.
Programs for children and youth run during the service at about 10 am.
Our worship is contemporary and relaxed. We place an emphasis on the preaching of the Word and prayer.
A morning tea normally follows the Worship service.
Worship Service detail:
Our desire is that our Sunday services at Taringa are a time where every person can encounter God, be inspired by his word and uplifted by his community. During our service we worship through song, prayer and by unpacking God’s word in a relevant and applicable way.
Our church is a place for the whole family. Children are a gift from God and therefore should be seen and heard. From helping us lead worship to in service children items, so much of what we do is shaped about helping families flourish. Taringa Kids is for children 3 years old to year 6 at primary school. Children’s programs normally begin around 10 am, just before our announcements. We also have an unsupervised parents’ room for children under 3 available during service times. Taringa Teens is for high schoolers. Please ask one of our welcomers if you are unsure about any details.
Our prayer is that Taringa Baptist can be a place where you can reach your full potential in Jesus Christ. All of us are on a journey and we hope that our Sunday worship environment can be a significant step towards God highest and best for you.
Please feel free to come as you are, there are no dress codes to abide by.
Special Services:
Taringa has a number of special services each year including special Multicultural service, Children’s and Youth services along with particular celebrations for Easter and Christmas.
Each year the Good Friday and Christmas Day services start earlier at 8am.
