Hope: Beyond The Grave
Explore what comes next!
Is Death the end… or the beginning?
Death is one of life’s most confronting realities. At some point, every one of us pauses and wonders: What happens when we die? Is this the end… or is there more?
For many, these questions aren’t just philosophical—they’re deeply personal. They surface in moments of grief, loss, uncertainty, and even quiet reflection. You may be carrying questions no one has fully answered, or perhaps you’ve never had the space to explore them honestly.
We want you to know—you’re not alone.
This new message series in term 2, Hope, Beyond the Grave, is an invitation to gently and thoughtfully explore what the Bible says about life after death. Not in a harsh or overwhelming way, but with honesty, compassion, and real hope.
Together, we’ll look at themes like death, what happens immediately after we die, the reality of judgement, and the Bible’s teaching on heaven and hell. These can feel like heavy topics—but they are also filled with surprising clarity and, ultimately, hope.
If you wouldn’t call yourself religious, or you’re unsure what you believe about Jesus, this is a safe place to come, listen, and consider. No pressure. No expectations. Just space to explore life’s biggest questions.
At the heart of this series is the message that hope is not something we have to create for ourselves—it’s something that has been offered to us. A hope that reaches beyond the grave.
You are warmly invited to come and discover it. The series kicks off on Sunday 26th April.

What to expect in a Service
Our Sunday services begin at 9:30 am and end around 11:00 am.
In each service, we come together to worship, learn, and grow in faith. We sing together in heartfelt worship, hear biblical teaching that is both relevant and encouraging, and pray as a community. We regularly share in communion and experience a warm, uplifting space to encounter God.
Whether you’re just beginning to explore faith or have been attending church for years, there’s a place for you at Taringa. Our desire is that every person can encounter God, be inspired by His word, and uplifted by His community. After the service, please stay and join us for a cup of tea or coffee, so we can answer any questions you might have and help you to meet others.
