What to expect in a Service
Our Sunday worship service begins at 9:30 am and ends around 11:00 am.
In each service, we come together to worship, learn, and grow in faith. We sing together in heartfelt worship, hear biblical teaching that is both relevant and encouraging, and pray as a community. We regularly share in communion and experience a warm, uplifting space to encounter God.
Whether you’re just beginning to explore faith or have been attending church for years, there’s a place for you at Taringa. Our desire is that every person can encounter God, be inspired by His word, and uplifted by His community. After the service, please stay and join us for a cup of tea or coffee, so we can answer any questions you might have and help you to meet others.

Families and Kids
Is there something for my kids?
Absolutely! At Taringa, church is not just for adults — children and youth are always welcome.
We offer:
- Taringa Kids (ages 2 to Year 6): Fun, faith-based teaching in a safe, child-friendly environment.
- Youth Program: For high schoolers, with Bible teaching and fun activities.
- Nursery room: For parents with infants, with a happy change space.
- Activity packs: For kids to enjoy during holiday services.
All programs are run by volunteers with Child Safe training and government-approved Blue Cards, so you can have peace of mind.
When do I check them in?
Children usually go out to their programs before 10:00 AM, just before the announcements are made.
What do I do when I arrive with my child?
When you arrive, head to the Kids Church desk inside the main building. Friendly volunteers will help you check your child in and answer any questions.
What will it be like for them?
Our Kids Church offers a safe, fun, and age-appropriate program that teaches the Bible in a way children can understand. Children are signed in and out by their parents to ensure their safety.
During school holidays, services become more inclusive, with children staying in the main service and receiving activity packs to help them engage. If your child is nervous or still getting settled, you’re more than welcome to attend with them.
We’re passionate about helping every child feel valued and loved.
